Donors can now pay with Bit straight from the synagogue's donation page — no credit card details to type in.
How does it work?
On the donation page, the donor picks an amount, chooses Bit and enters a phone number. An SMS is sent, the donor approves the payment in the Bit app — and the page updates on its own once the payment goes through. The donation is recorded in the dashboard like any other online donation.
What do you need to turn it on?
Bit runs through our payment processor, and it's connected for each nonprofit separately — after the processor approves that nonprofit. We set it up together with you: WhatsApp or phone: 054-509-3496, Sun–Thu during business hours.
Availability
Bit has been live since September 2026 for the first synagogues whose payment processing was approved. We're in early pilot and would love feedback from donors and gabbaim.
