Your synagogue has a donation page of its own

Every synagogue on Beita gets its own donation page. Members, family and guests can give to the general fund or to a specific campaign. No separate website needed.

  • The page updates itself with the active campaigns and their progress
  • Each campaign has a share link that shows a preview with the campaign name and goal on WhatsApp
  • The synagogue also appears in the list of synagogues on Beita's donation portal
  • The page is live from the moment you open your account, and each new campaign appears on it by itself

What people ask us about donations

How does card processing work?
Donations are processed through a licensed Israeli payment processor, by credit card and Bit. We'll help you open the account and connect it to Beita.
What receipt does the donor get?
A receipt for the donation with the nonprofit's details, emailed to the donor right after the donation. Receipts are saved in the system, and you can export the list of donations for your accountant. Please note: Beita does not issue Section 46 tax receipts at this time. A nonprofit with Section 46 approval keeps issuing those receipts as it does today.
Can a donor stop a standing order?
Yes. Each donor gets a personal link where they can stop or update their standing order, without calling the gabbai.
Is the payment secure?
Yes. The payment goes directly between the donor and the licensed payment processor, and Beita does not store credit card details. Information is sent over an encrypted connection.
Who pays the processing fee?
The fee is set in your agreement with the payment processor, and by default the synagogue pays it. The donor can choose to cover it, so the synagogue receives the full donation. Beita itself takes no commission on donations; Beita's price is for the software only.
How does selling aliyot work?
The gabbai opens a sale for the aliyot, and members offer an amount on the online sale page. The sale closes by itself at the time you set, and the gabbai sees who won each aliyah and can get in touch with them.
