Why digital donations

Give in three taps. Receipt by email.

No cash, no forms, no chasing donors. One-time gifts and recurring ones — all recorded automatically.

One-time gifts & recurring giving

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and Bit. Monthly standing orders the donor can pause or update in a single click.

Section 46 receipts coming soon

Automatic receipt generation is in development and will launch once approved by the Tax Authority. You can already connect your nonprofit's iCount or EasyCount account through the integrations page in the admin.

Donor-covered processing fees

One checkbox on the donation page lets the donor choose to cover the processing fee. The synagogue keeps 100% of the gift. Most donors agree when asked.

A branded donation page per synagogue

Logo, colors, your community's story and an annual goal — every synagogue gets its own dedicated donation page. Share the link on WhatsApp or scan a QR from the screen.

Campaigns with goals & ambassadors

Launch a campaign with a goal and a live progress bar, and activate community ambassadors who fundraise from their own personal page — JGive-style, with no middleman fee.

Donor portal — control in the donor's hands

Every donor gets a personal link to manage their standing order — amount, billing day, pause, switch card. No need to call the gabbai. Fewer drop-offs, more retention.

Section 46 receipts coming soon

The receipts go out on their own.

Automatic generation of Section 46 receipts is in development and will switch on after Tax Authority approval is complete. You can already connect your nonprofit's iCount or EasyCount account through the integrations page, so it activates automatically on launch day.

  • An automatic receipt to the donor's email within seconds of the gift (coming soon)
  • A tidy digital archive for each tax year — at the press of a button (coming soon)
  • An annual report for your accountant in the standard Section 46 format (coming soon)
  • The option for the donor to cover the processing fee — the synagogue keeps 100% of the gift
Campaigns & fundraising goals

A campaign with a goal — share in a click.

Renovations, Torah scrolls, education programs — a dedicated campaign with a live progress bar that updates in real time and shares to WhatsApp.

  • Share on WhatsApp and in the community app — donate straight from the message
  • Earmarked donations for projects — renovations, books, programs
Public donor portal

Your synagogue has its own donation page.

Every synagogue on Beita automatically gets its own dedicated donation page — where donors (members, family, guests) find the synagogue and give in a click, to a general fund or a specific campaign. No separate website to build, no hosting agreements, no development.

  • A dedicated page that updates automatically with active campaigns, a progress bar and a donor wall
  • Every campaign gets a shareable link with an OG preview showing the campaign name, amount raised and goal
  • Discoverable — a donor types "synagogue [city name]" in Google and finds you
  • Listed in the public synagogue directory — donors browse, click and find even those they never knew
  • Zero work — the moment you open a Beita account the page is live; the moment you launch a campaign, it's there

FAQ

What people ask us about donations

Which payment processors are supported?
We support the main Israeli payment processors — leading Israeli clearing systems and iCount. If you already have an active account with one of them, just enter your API keys and start. If you don't, we'll help you choose and open one.
How do Section 46 receipts work?
Each donation will generate an automatic receipt carrying the synagogue's logo and the nonprofit's details, sent straight to the donor's email. At year-end, an annual report for your accountant in the standard Tax Authority format is one click away. (This feature is coming soon, pending Tax Authority approval.)
Can a donor stop a standing order themselves?
Yes. Every donor can pause, increase, decrease or update their payment method in a click — from the app or a link in their email. They also get a gentle heads-up before each charge so there's time to stop if they wish. Full transparency.
Is the clearing secure?
Yes. All clearing runs directly between the donor and the certified payment processor — we don't store card details. All data is transmitted over SSL and complies with PCI DSS standards.
Who pays the processing fee?
By default the synagogue pays the fee (1.2% for credit card, 1.5% for Bit, 1.2% for a standing order). But the donor can choose to cover it — so the synagogue keeps 100% of the gift. Most donors choose to cover it when asked.
How do aliyah sales work?
A digital queue shown on the screen and in the app — members offer amounts, the winner gets the aliyah, and an account is created automatically for payment. Section 46 receipt — coming soon. No slips and no lines by the bimah.
Does the price include processing fees?
Beita's price is software only — processing fees are paid directly to your provider under your own contract with them. That way you keep your freedom of choice and pay no extra middleman fee.
